After weeks of work, I'm really happy to say that my Hand That Feeds exhibition as part of Bristol Food Connections is up! The exhibition features portraits of local farmers and producers and aims to connect consumers with the people who produce the food they eat. By each photo is a card which tells you a little bit about the person and what they do. More info about the exhibition here.
The exhibition is taking place in two locations, Source and Poco, both of which have an exceedingly high commitment to supporting local producers (as well as being two of my favourite places in Bristol!). So please pop by, have a look at the photos and don't forget to try some of the amazing local food they sell.
Every day during the festival (Friday 29th - Saturday 7th), I'll be posting a photo and story up on facebook, twitter and instagram, so keep an eye out there too.
Huge thanks to my supportive friends (especially Scruff for her photography exhibition guru knowledge and Xenia for her awesome handywoman skills), to Joe at Source and the team at Poco for their support in making this happen, to Photographique for the beautiful printing, and to the Bristol Food Connections team for their help and encouragement.
