I've been a little quiet over the past few weeks, mainly because I've been running around getting my Hand That Feeds photography exhibition together for Bristol Food Connections festival.
The exhibition is made up of a series of portraits of local farmers and producers, hung in places that sell and serve local food. From cheese makers to beer brewers, dairy farmers to salad growers, it will allow people to connect with the people who produce their food, and remember that behind everything you eat, there's a story.
I'm really excited to be hanging the photos in two of my favourite places in Bristol; Pocos on Jamaica Street serves amazing brunches, beautiful tapas and is a generally lovely place to hang out. And the Source Food Hall and Cafe is a frequent haunt, packed full of local delights and knowledgable staff (you can read my feature on them here).
The exhibition is running throughout the Food Connections festival (29th April - 7th May). The photos will hopefully be staying up for a little longer in both venues, so pop by and take a look (and buy some nice food while you're there!).
